The Little Things and...

It was the end of the day. I was tired. Frantically I searched for my notes for Chemistry. Where could they be? After looking through about twenty pages, I cried out to God, "Please help me find my paper!".
1 or 2 papers later, there it was!

I prayed something different last night. I don't think I had prayed yet that the boys would win their basketball game. I'm just not sure I felt right about that. But last night was Stephen's last game. So I still prayed that God would use it to draw them closer to Him and that they would do the best job they could with the ability God has given them...but I also prayed that they would win. And they did!
I'm so glad God cares about the little things and the not quite so little things!

CHRISTMAS

We all had a lot of fun wrapping presents this past Christmas. We had lots of extra ribbons, bags, and fun paper to choose from. Thanks, Diane!

We've been sick. So the other day we had some herbal tea. We used up the rest of the Bigelow orange vitamin c tea and combined the rest of the I Love Lemon with some blueberry that I already had. The kids were interested in trying it.
Last night for supper, Stephen made fish burgers using the Tilipia fillets.
We've been enjoying the fruit bars. The coconut ones are especially delicious but I also really like the lemon and lime.

First Things First

My friend Diane moved to California and gave us lots of her stuff. I thought it would be fun to keep track of how we've used it. .
Sunday, Grandt (4) wore the burgundy sweater vest with the gray stripe. Last Sunday he wore the white vest with the blue stripe. On Mother's Day I got a picture of my kids along with their hands traced on it. In Grandt's picture he was wearing the white sweater vest.
